One of the nation’s leading health insurers was looking to improve their online support tools. The brand was looking to understand how receptive their consumers, brokers, and employers would be to an automated support tool to guide customers and partners to their ideal health plan.

The study was broken down into three segments among consumers, brokers, and employers.

Polling was done where consumers shared their previous health complications and experiences. Brokers and employers shared their experience level guiding clients/employees through critical health decisions.

Afterwards, consumers, through a survey, shared their experience with risky healthcare decisions and identified customer service pain points. Brokers and employers identified crucial attributes needed in an automated support tool.

All segments provided additional insights through discussion boards on the proposed automated support tool.
